Fri, 07/24/2009 - 4:12pm — cyatesAs of today, Friday July 24, 2009 this web site replaces the legacy 'themis-team' and 'zaphod' web sites as the source for THEMIS data.
In order to access the latest data that is available, you must log in with your username and password.
The following credentials will are accepted:
- Your old 'Zaphod' username and password
- Your JMARS Themis Team username and password
- Your ASU Mars Space Flight (aka Moeur Building or LDAP) username and password
Band Numbers
List of the band numbers corresponding to each band in the image
- IR images have 1-10 bands available
- VIS images have 1-5 bands available
Yaw angle
A non-zero value indicates spacecraft rotation during image collection; for the ODY spacecraft, a positive yaw angle indicates a right hand rotation around the spacecraft nadir vector.
Roll Angle
A non-zero value indicates spacecraft rotation during image collection; for the ODY spacecraft, a positive roll angle indicates a right hand rotation around the spacecraft velocity vector.
Spacecraft Pointing Mode
Odyssey pointing mode during image collection; most common modes are NADIR and OFF-NADIR. See ODY Orientation & Pointing for a full description of all valid modes.
Spacecraft Orientation
Odyssey orientation during image collection; described as an angle (in degrees) of rotation away from nadir around the three axis spacecraft frame of reference (PITCH, ROLL, YAW). See ODY Orientation & Pointing for more information.
